C.c Davies

 

Cc.Davies from Madrid Spain, has been dancing for over a decade, she studied the formation at the Luthier School based in Barcelona and Musical Theater professionally.


Coming from a family of artists Cc. has always been connected to music, from a young age she has played numerous instruments, studied theater and all kinds of dances, although her focus is in black African American Dances like Tap, vernacular jazz and Lindy hop.

 

Her approach to dance comes from a grounded natural and musical perspective and the connection between them.

Tomasso Maria Parazzoli

 

Tommaso is a dynamic tap dancer from Bologna, in Italy.
Trained at the prestigious Bernstein School of Musical Theatre, his journey began in 2012 and quickly took him to some of Italy's most prestigious stages. Over the years, he has shone in productions such as Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Ragtime, Chicago, Nine and Crazy for You.
His passion for Tap led him to train with world legends, win numerous scholarships and accolades, including first place at the World Tap Dance Championships in both the Trio and Production categories and a top five finish in the “solo” category at the World Tap Dance Championships.
Highlights of his career include solo tap dance performances in theatrical shows, galas, and Italian television programs such as OnDance, Houdini The Impossible Man, Dalla Strada Al Palco and Splendida Cornice. He has also taught at the Tap On Mallorca Festival and the Syracuse Tap Festival.
His remarkable talent was further recognized when he was featured twice in a row as a soloist on the prestigious TV show VIVA LA DANZA, organized by world famous dancer and toile Roberto Bolle, with whom he continues to collaborate.

Simon Schafer

Born in a small town in southern Germany, Simon M. Schäfer has been dancing and playing music all his life. While he has been trained in many different dance styles and instruments, tap dance has always been his main form of artistic expression and experience. He is an alumn of the Jacob’s Pillow Tap Program 2019 which he attended at only 16 years old.

 

Currently he is studying philosophy and art history at Heidelberg University and will take part in the Luthier Professional Tap Dance Program in Barcelona 2025/26.

In his dancing he seeks to honor and explore the roots of rhythm tapping as part of the Jazz tradition and also create experimental works that combine tap with expressive, sometimes eccentric body movement.

Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson is a Harlem-born tap dancer who performs on New York City trains to pay for his Penn State University tuition.
Since Spring 2012, Josh has performed at numerous New York City jazz clubs, from The Cotton Club to The Blue Note, and continues the traditions of Afro-American tap dance masters such as the Nicholas brothers, the Berry brothers, the Original Hoofers, and the Copasetics.

From Village Vanguard to New Victory Theater and
the world-renowned Box Theater of Varieties in Lower Manhattan. Josh Johnson has been featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer and has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show numerous times. He has been featured in articles in the New York Times and Reader's Digest.

He was featured on Dancing With the Stars with his AT&T Spotlight performance. Among Josh's inspiring performances is his appearance at Madison Square Garden in the sold-out opening game of the NY Knicks' 2013-2014 season, watched by thousands of fans.

Irmak Kuyumcu

Irmak Kuyumcu studied Environmental Engineering at Yıldız Technical University.

 

She has been trained on different musical instruments from a young age.

She served as a member of the main organizing committee of the Turkish Jugglers Festival (J-Fest) from 2007 to 2022. She started tap dancing in 2010 and began giving lessons in 2015.

 

She has been a performing artist in multiple disciplines, primarily circus disciplines, since 2006

She is the main founder and organizer of the Tap. In. Ist Istanbul Tap Dance Festival, the first of which was held in 2018.

 

Her favorite thing is to whistle, and her biggest dream is to participate in a whistling competition one day and win.

Güneş Kortel

Güneş Kortel is a drummer and musician working in jazz music. He studied music theory and composition at Başkent University.

 

He contributed to Jehan Barbur's projects in 2014, then continued his own career with singles such as "Reborn" (2021) and "Not Here Anymore" (2022).

 

Various tracks including "Nauma" are available on Apple Music and Spotify, and he is also active on Instagram.​

Timuçin Gürer

Timuçin Gürer is a graduate of Boğaziçi University's Mechanical Engineering department, and during his university years he became involved in folk dance, world music, and theater through BÜFK and BÜO.

 

He was among the founding members of Mozaik Music Ensemble in 1983, performing as a vocalist and percussionist until 1995, after which he joined the Ayşe Tütüncü Piano Percussion Group. Through KeKeÇa Body Percussion Ensemble, which he co-founded with Tugay Başar in 2002, he has been conducting work in body music, percussion, and improvisation at various international platforms, most notably the International Body Music Festival (IBMF).

 

Viewing music as an inseparable part of the body, Gürer continues his work as a body music educator and researcher in the fields of music, theater, and dance, alongside his performance career.
